I'm new to the world of Tacoma's and would consider myself somewhat of a novice in the world of off roading (however I have done several of the more difficult trails at TSF in my buddy's Jeep). I would love to join you guys on the 1st but I can't commit quite yet. I realize I'm not considered attending unless I actually commit, but could I just meet you guys at the meet up location without commiting?

Joe, the only thing that would help would be giving your # to the organizer so he can call you that morning to verify if your coming or not. Sobtheu don't end up waiting awhile for a no show.

Also, post a pic of your truck in our BS thread. 3 of us do/did attend OSU. Maybe we have seen your rig.

Mike, are you heading down Saturday morning? I am gonna make down there, and maybe Steve too. I might camp Friday and/or Saturday. :notsure:

You would need to commit to the noncommittal sign-up form. I will commiserate with the others (don't worry it doesn't cost and we aren't on commission), where we will commence committing your non-commitment to our records.

Or you could do what snowgod suggests, which is much easier all around :p

I went there too... just a long time ago

If you want to camp, let's just do the same thing we did the last time... but maybe skip the weird trip through the total backwater roads, lol.
If you are skipping the camping, I'll go down Friday and sleep the night at my bud's in Hillsboro.

Sounds good to me. I would rather head down Friday night than waking up early. Is everyone planning on wheeling Saturday only?

If it's a Jeep Patriot, I reserve the right to hate on it! hate hate hate!

If you were a Jedi, the flying balls in the Millenium Falcon would be hitting you in the head and you'd be yelling, "Apple! Apple!"

    :p

I keep the first post updated, just like always :)

I have to cancel as well. First, because I don't have a proper set of tires for wheeling, and second, I will be moving.

For those still going, I can help advise route planning, etc.

New to the Tacoma world. Starting my rebuild on my 2002 Tacoma double cab that I submerged in water:( water to glove box level. All interior is dry and smells fine. All lights, stereo, heater controls work. But when insurance took it"2 weeks ago" I was able to crank it over, just got it back and it won't crank at all. So I'll be starting a new thread about my progress.

Truck is an 02 Tacoma double can with 101k miles
    6" fab tech lift
    35" km2s
    Headache rack and toolbox.

Hope to come to a meet by october

I am going no matter what. My fiance and I have already scheduled a camping trip for that weekend and will go even if no one else does. It's kind of a bummer few of the regulars will be going... I was really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting some good pointers on my vehicle and how to use it the right way.

Totally forgot Tim is still going. Zach, you got a list of which routes you guys want to run or is it a 'wing it' deal for when you guys get there. Small group going, should be fun! Mike, you can borrow my tires for the day and go! J/k.
