This trip was a lot of fun. I'm glad I finally got to test the limits of my ride. Curtis and Scott were huge helps. Definitely learned a few things. Can't wait until the next trip.

I know nothing about nothing at this point. I'm feeling pretty poor and in need of some truck maintenance, so I haven't been looking.

So I am looking into making a trip to Santiam Pass, aka Hoodoo. Its about 2.5-3 hours from Portland, depending where you start. I want to make a day trip out there before an actual meet is scheduled to get a feel for how the trails are and what we would be getting ourselves into. So far with a little online research the place had 50 miles of trails 3 years ago and has only grown since then. They are mostly moderate so I expect them to be similar to TSF. The map shows a lot of them to be only for Class 1 and 3, which is also a big reason for going there and check it out first. If anyone else knows more, please share.

Yea...I don't recommended taking your truck their. Not much to offer for a nice truck. Now, if you have a Wheeler then have at it. I have a few pics form a bachelor party we had their and its bonplace for a non designated Wheeler.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
There's Cascade Cruisers "Cruisin' the Woods"@ TSF.

Toyota only on the 28th & open event on the 29th. It costs $50-$65, and there will probably be a shit-load of trucks and some free SWAG :D

I probably won't be going, but we'll see how $$$ looks around that time.

Shotgun is ehh.. ment for bikes/quads. Has I believe 2-3 truck trails..not to sure the number. Low pass and high pass are just roads that have trails that spurt off them. Some are a little intense for a more or less stock taco.

I have been to Mary's Peak a few times and I did find a couple fun trails but they were short and few and far between. Very easy to get lost there. Luckily my phone's gps worked otherwise I might still be up there... What would be great is going there with someone who knows how to find some fun trails...

Found what looks like a fun, two-day trip at the end of the month. I think I'm going. Maybe we can steal gitout's thread and post the same trip here.

    Here is the link.
