    So last nite we got hit with a windstorm that was so strong it rocked the trucks. It broke the rods on my tent like twigs and the tent collapsed on me. I ended up sleeping in the cab of truck. Pics are up on my facebook.

    Oh and before Afton Canyon we took a wrong turn and both in2nite and silvertaco got stuck badly in thick mud. The ground around them was like quicksand when we walked up to them. Fortunately a full size HD came by running the same trail.

    our only 4x4 WAS the first one stuck in the mud... he was sunk in pretty bad...

    James went to help him out and sank into a mud pit himself...

    there was a certain part of the river bed where the ground was hard packed just enough to walk on it, but there was only a thin layer and under that was pure water and mud so the trucks got swallowed up like quicksand...
