Here are some coordintates from the last run.

These are coordinates from Barstow to Stateline. This year we're planning to run it from Laughlin to Barstow so we might hit up these locations in the opposite order.

Lava tubes which is after Soda Dry Lake. If I remember correctly these Lava Tube coordinates are not exact but they get us in the general area. I remember how to get there so we should be able to find this without a problem.

    35.155319,-115.790627 - Kelbaker Rd/Aiken Mine Rd.

Aiken Mine Rd will take us to the Lava Tubes.

    Lava Tubes entrance
    35.213881,-115.753172

Marl Springs 35.1707, -115.64759 which is after the mojave mail box.

    Government Holes 35.14749, -115.3592

    Rock Springs 35.15283, -115.3273

Evening Star mine, , located off Kessler Peak Rd.
    35.3576962044675,-115.54801940918

    Hole in the Wall campground
    35.04333,-115.395

    Fort Piute/Piute Creek
    35.11502, -114.98526

Plus we're planning on running from Laughlin to Barstow so it will definitely be different. I'm studying coordinates as we speak trying to keep us on the right paths. It's a bitch.

For those that went to Fort Piute on the last run...when we left the canyon after Daniel got water in his engine we had to climb up and down that rocky mountain after that big canyon we discovered. Unfortunately it looks like we're going to have to go up that mountain again to get to the other side.

On the straight away between A and B is where James flew threw the wash and had to pull over and check his chonies.

Point A is Fort Piute, point B is where we have to turn to head up the hill, point C is where we should level out. Last year started at point C and went down the mountain. This year we'll have to go up the mountain.

I think I have our coordinates set up for Laughlin to Fort Piute. After that it's a pretty easy route which we did last year.

the distance between those points are about 6 or 7 miles. we'll do a gas check when we get to our first camp site. if we have to we'll run to state line and gas up and head back to camp.

you don't need LT for this trip. I'm not LT and I've done this trip about 5 times. one year we had one do the run on stock dunlop tires but I don't recommend doing that.
