18 years and less than 2,000 miles a year.
I bought a vehicle like that once......long story shortened, the owner changed the oil probably very 5,000 miles. So an oil change every 2 1/2 years. The rod bearings were shot.

01 standard cab to me is worth about 4k. I don't care if it has 35k or 350 miles on it, very little use for it. I had a single cab 1st gen and disliked it a lot. It was cramped and uncomfortable, and I'm not a giant. Then I had an extended cab 1st gen and it was betterbecause i coukd recline the seat. Then the kids got bigger and it's 4 door or nothing. The only way I would pay more than 4 is if I knew I could turn it for a profit in short order. 12.5k, no way in hell.

I always get a kick when people say kbb doesn't work for their vehicle. When you're on the taco forum, it's always undervaluing tacomas. When you're on the mustang forums, it undervalued mustangs. Bmw... literally every forum says that whatever car they like, sells for waaaay more. So they don't get the answer they want from the 10 bajiliion surveyed sales and they come to the forum where t people tell them it's worth more. Kbb doesn't assign value to anything, it's just a database of sales of similar vehicles. If 10k cars have sold and they all sold for $10,000, your identical car is worth about 10k. Just because you see people on craigslist asking for 100k, it's still a 10k car. Asking price and sold price are 2 vastly different things.

Similar to most others posts; I personally would not buy a car that sat that much. Also regardless of the miles, I got a one owner CA owned first gen (4wd) for a decent amount less. As long as these things are maintained throughout their 150k+ life it will be more reliable than a car that sat for its whole life. (ONLY MY OPINION)
