Greetings, I'll try and keep this short.

    I bought a 2003 PreRunner Xtra-Cab V6 not too long ago.
The idea came out of practicality; I got tired of hauling supplies in a compact sedan. Long story short, everyone suggest I get into a Tacoma, so I did. And I'm glad I did!

This truck is turning a sports car enthusiast, into a truck lover.

At first my intentions were to keep it stock (the first owner babied it). But as time went on, seasons changed (bringing with them rain, snow, mud) and now I'm getting hungry for mods.

My only regret is that I should have gotten a 4x4 (or at least one with a locking dif).

    Here are my immediate plans:

    CAI (K&N)
    Exhaust (MagnaFlow)
    Bull Bars (Westin)

    Then later this year:
    3" Lift
    Larger wheels / tires

Does anyone see any major issues with swapping my current rear end with a locking one?

The locker isn't a necessity, but as you can see from the photo, I spend some time in the dirt. Just some added peace of mind for when the rains come.
