So I searched and couldn’t find anything on this in particular. Was driving yesterday and all of a sudden the truck started a sweet vibration when in gear with my foot on the brake. Basically I’m just wondering if anyone has this issue specifically? If you take it out of gear it goes away, put it back in and there it is. It’s pretty obvious. Not like a faint vibration lol. If it continues I’ll obviously take it into the dealership, but I have the vibration that most of the other guys seem to have and they did nothing about it so I’m not very optimistic.

Any chance you have ice build up somewhere on the undercarriage/ wheels?

We have had below freezing weather for a long stretch and I had some vibrations. I crawled under the truck and removed lots of ice off the front suspension and rims, finally took it to a car wash which removed quite a bit more.

    FWIW.

I don’t think so, but it’s worth a look for sure! Thanks

If you’re in gear and have the foot on the brake than you’re getting a normal vibe. All cars get a slight vibe with the foot on the brake while you’re in gear. If it gets more serious obviously take it in, but till then just keep driving it and Toyota will replace whatever goes kaboom either way.

This isn’t normal. It’s audible, and way stronger than the normal vibe. Only happens in gear foot on the brake.

Possible faulty motor mounts? I’d just take it in honestly because you’re better off preventing something major from happening.
