It's not the same situation, but a shop I used to work at was hit by a tornado and several vehicles were damaged. Each individual owner had to go through their own insurance, which I thought was BS. Hopefully it's a different outcome in your case.

If you do not know a lawyer personally there are plenty of free online services that can lead you in the right direction or will provide some legal advice. Good luck.

Contact your insurance company, tell them what happened. They do not want to pay for the new paint job and will likely go after 4WP's insurance carrier to pay for the damage. If they are successful, 4WP insurance pays to fix it but at worst, your claim is already filed and ready to go. Insurance companies are usually pretty informed on who is responsible for what and may be able to give you some guidance on that. Many times they are better than lawyers because the insurance company looks to get someone else to pay while a lawyer will advocate for you as long as there is something in it for them.

Just go punch one of their employees in the face. Doesn't matter who. If they have a 4WP shirt on, implant your fist on their face.

X2, go with your insurance company first, pay the deductible, your insurance carrier will pay for all the damages. Your insurance company will then subrogate to 4wheelparts (sue the fuck out of them), get the money back, and refund your deductible.

4wheelparts will say it was like that before you dropped it off.... we did our job and thats that.. leave us alone.. *blank stare*.

Did they do a damage checklist before you dropped it off?

They said they checked it before it went in for work and after they put it outside, so it "had" to happen between the time they put it out there and the time I picked it up (like 30 minutes). Or realistically they left it out all night....

You left it there overnight and they didnt garage it???

WOW thats the bullshit part of that company.. what if it got stolen?

    Or broken into..

I hate 4wheel parts either way but wow that should be a wake up call for them.

I parked it like a normal person, told them what I wanted and left it there, I dropped it off on Monday, and i picked it up today at around 4pm. Anything could have happened between then.

    haters gonna hate lol

I guess I expected to much from them as a "professional" company. If I wanted to screw my truck up I would work on it myself (which I will do from now on)

Good luck getting it fixed, like others I would call your insurance and ask what to do from there.
