I think my taco has had factory replacement shocks put in and (i think) like factory it sits taller in the back, and I'd like if it sat taller in the front instead.

I'm planning on getting some 5100's soon and wanna know if I should set it 2.5 in the front and 0 or 1.5 in the rear or 2.5 for both...

also i kinda wanna get new springs because I'm not sure if they are the factory ones or not...which springs do you guys recommend to pair up with the 5100s?

    thanks

The front 5100s are only adjustable, the rears are not. However, the 5100s in the rear will allow for a lift up to 3". Most 1st gen taco's go with the front 5100s set at the highest setting (2.5") and go with either a 1.5" AAL or 2" AAL in the rear.

Personally, I have my front 5100s set at the middle setting (1") with stock coils and stock suspension in the rear and the truck sits level. As for springs, the two more popular options are Eibach Coils or OME 881 or 882 Coils with the 5100s set at "0" in the front. This will give you about 2.5"-3" of lift in the front thus you would want to add a 2" AAL in the rear.

Do some more searching and you will find your answers. Good luck!

    thanks for the info...

so basically if I use the eibach or ome springs I should set the billy's to 0"

also would it look ridiculous if I didnt do an aal in the rear if I had billy's and eibachs in the front?

Maybe too much rake , look "too braaaah " People will tell you, I tend to agree, the Eibachs can give you 3" of lift in front with the 5100's set at zero

Set at 1", it will sit level. I have mine set at 1" and with a camper, it squats. Im sure if I took my camper off, it would sit level.

i have my 5100's at 0 and ome 882 springs, and the cv angle was a little harsh but i put the diff drop in and it made a world of difference.
