Definitely not how I envisioned my day finishing up. Headed home, a guy driving his girlfriend’s BMW, pulled out across three lanes, and right in front of me. He was cited for failure to yield, so 100% his fault.

I’m fine, just really sore and at urgent care getting checked out.

Truck has right front quarter, bumper, grill, skid plate, and wheel damage. It’s pulling hard to the right. Pretty sure it’s fixable.

In Houston every BMW driver is a retard. It’s a good idea to cover the brakes when you see one. Glad you are ok OP. Shit will buff out

Second that. Get one of those front bumpers with full hoops. If you had one for this accident, your only damage would have been some paint on your bumper :)

The thing that sucks, but turned out for the best is that I was about to upsize to 17’s. Glad I didn’t do that last week. One of my rims is bent. I can feel the wobble.

A week after installing my front bumper some lady hit me at a gas station, what would have been a wrecked front end turned out to be some scratches on the powder coat and one rim! I feel so much safer on the road with one

Let me dig, happened 2 and a half years ago :burnrubber:

Edit: Looks like I don't have anything, just the scratched up rim and the spot I painted over the powdercoat on my bumper... the chick literally hit me then floored it over a curb and into a tree. Car was totaled for sure

Other guys insurance says $3k damage. That’s a low estimate. I’m betting it’s closer to $6k when all said and done. Other guy is also not cooperating with his insurance. Anyone have experience with that?

Taco is headed to the shop today. Also turns out, I have a slipped disk from the accident. Hope my chiro can patch me up. I’m walking like and old man at the moment.

Document everything. Don't take the first offer from the other guy's insurance for pain/suffering as they will probably pay 2x whatever that number is.
