Making my first post on Tacoma World! For a little background, I'm coming from the turbocharged 4cyl scene but I've been around trucks my entire life. Modifying vehicles isn't new to me, so I don't consider myself a total noob. When I'm not 100% certain of an answer, I look to those with more experience for help. Since I've purchased my truck, this forum has been overwhelming helpful and full of knowledge, so thank you all in advance for the help.

But anyway, I've been doing a lot of research and I haven't found a definitive answer. I recently installed a 3" lift with 5100's all around and had it aligned with the OEM wheels and tires. However, I'm installing 285/70/17 tires this week and am wondering if I'll need to get it aligned again to compensate for tire wear on the wider tires. Any help is appreciated!

If the truck is already properly aligned, changing tires doesn't require a new alignment.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Most places can check your alignment for free before they do anything to it if it is off. Personally I always get an alignment with any new set of tires I purchase.

Thanks for the help! Once I get them mounted up, I might have it looked at just to be safe.
