    All I can say is doing the same 4 hour drive upstate I've done a bunch of times, with the same gear in the truck, people in the truck, and same ATV and gear on the trailer I was pulling hills in 4th at 75 that it used to not be able to maintain that speed at. I agree a better set of dyno graphs would be nice.

    It can free up the power it takes to spin the fan when it's not really needed. Back in the early 90's we switched my buddy's 5.0 Mustang from the stock mechanical fan to an electric one and it was good for about 1/10th of a second in the 1/4 mile which translates into about 10 hp freed up.
