Does anyone have an inclinometer and a ramp? Seems like it would be easier to avoid if people knew where the line was.

Yeah I'd assume (and really hope) you'd have to be above 30 degrees for any issue to arise

 

Funny that the Speedo maxes out at 140 but the inclinometer at 30. One of these is way more likely

If I had to guess, there is a spot in that hill that puts your truck over 40 degrees

 

I've never paid any attention to mine off road, I always assumed the truck stayed level and the bezel rotated and would go higher if needed.

Well, they'll do 125mph stock and most tunes raise it to 155...so I guess the limits of both could be raise a little.

 

Wonder how much a lift and tire size could offset the angles of the factory inclinometer vs stock

 

From Toyota service bulletin TSBS-030822: Oil return pooling in head when climbing or descending steep inclines.

“Bleed air out of front tires prior to ascending steep inclines, bleed air out of rear tires prior to descending steep declines.”

 

this is a joke lol

 

But in honesty, that night my tires were full of air.....

 

and don't forget to reinstall the factory floormats, those pesky aftermarket ones cause all kinds of issues.

 

Shouldn't affect it by more than a couple degrees unless you've got some crazy bro lift or Carolina lean going on

It delays the issue…can fills up scary fast on decent inclines…at idle.

I can get my wife’s 4.0 to do the same thing on steep off camber inclines.

The Tacoma did it more readily.

Can’t replicate it in the FJZ80.
