I have a 2024 Tacoma Base Off Road with no Factory Brake controller. I have checked and I do have the Blue Brake wire that runs to the large plug in the rear. I know Toyota does not recommend and aftermarket brake control with the factory controller installed on truck. I don't So can I install and aftermarket on mine without any issues??

I installed a Prodigy on mine. You can tap into the blue wire under the passenger seat. I tapped into the 3rd brake light with a diode for the trigger wire and the unused air compressor wire for power. It works fine but is more work than it should be. There are several threads on this site and a good one on the "other " site to help you.
