Hmmm... I took a small drill bit and drilled into the bolt and then once the bit caught onto the bolt and started screwing in. I reversed the drill and it just unscrewed the bolt. I guess I got lucky. Oh yeah it was a right hand bit because I didn't have any left hand ones

You guys are not going to believe this but I swear on my truck that this is true. There's this spot that I travel through that for about one mile I get nothing but static on my radio. It's on every channel.

But today on the way to work and on the way back, the music never stopped!! So I'm thinking that either it never was connecting right or that tape is magical!

my antenna snapped off when i was going to remove it BEFORE i went throught the car wash. It immediately broke as soon as I applied pressure to it. I guess it had corrosion and was seized onto the post.

Anyone have a hookup with a Toyota parts dept?

Mine was also stuck, so i placed a flat head in one of those notches and whacked it a few times, it loosened and i twisted it off

I will never ever use a grabit bit ever again for this reason alone, I had a broken bolt recently that the grabit bit broke off in and looks exactly like this now. I tried drilling at it all day as well and ended up with something that looked exactly like this. I really don't know what to do at this point other then take the dremel to it, but I'm not sure if the carbide burr bit would even work. I wonder if the diamond cutter bit attachment would work at all because I think I have one of those lying around for sure.

EDIT: come to think about it, if I had a fine point grinding stone attachment on the drill or dremel that day I probably could have grinded through all that material, because one of my larger stones was grinding past the material of the grabit junk bit. OP, you very well might want to consider the carbide burr dremel attachment suggestion and let us know what happens.
