    What's up guys,

So was visiting my parents over the weekend and decided to give my pops 1996 4WD Toyota T-100 some love! This is his work truck- 6 mile round trip to work . Only has 165K! This truck is a beast!! My dad gonna retire soon and if he buys the new 16 Taco I will be all over this truck! Like said its a great truck 3.4 beast 4WD on 33 BFG's - very rare truck.

Plasti dipped his stk wheels and I buffed his headlights removed all that yellow crap!

The T100 was an awesome truck. I bought a '97 SR5 AC 4x4 5-speed new off the lot and drove it until about 5 years ago when I f-d up and sold it. Best quality vehicle I ever owned. It had its flaws, but it was a true Africa truck.

FYI, the change from '96 to '97 brought 16" rims and a 4.11 rear end. Way better gearing considering the likelihood that people want to put bigger tires on.

Great truck. I pulled a 4400 lb trailer with it all over the mountains and deserts. Four-wheeled like a boss, even box stock. Flogged the crap out of that motor and it never once used a drop of oil even with nearly 200K miles. At the end I was using synthetic with 12K change intervals and the oil was hardly even darkened by the time I dumped it.

Yeah man this truck is truly amazing- my dad had this truck while I was a teen. I think this planted the seed for me to finally get a Taco! I was always a GM guy, I have trucks (non Toyota) while my dad has had his T- 100, I finally made the switch and never been happier.
