can't wait to hear what you think of the new front end. did you got full uniballs or some variation? how's the turning radius? i live in la and drive my truck daily so i am a bit nervous of the wider track. what shock did you go with? did you keep the stock bump? sorry for the 50 quesitons

It's unreal. Super stoked on it. I got the kit that is all sealed uniballs. Turning radius is pretty much exactly the same as far as I can tell. I have 8" kings. Bump stops are superbumps that I've been running for years.

Gunna get the back dialled in, then I will revisit the front with bypasses and hydro bumps, but that won't be for a long time. I also will be doing JD's slide rack at some point, and adding their uca gussets. Just lacking money right now and I need new tires pretty bad, so that's first.

How you feel about running the upgraded "tie rods" with out the rack? I was toying with the idea of doing that this winter on DP to try and avoid some problems in the future....

They are just the heimed outers. It's usually the inner that breaks any way, so I don't think it really makes any difference other than gaining some extra articulation at the knuckle. Will be nice to have them fully heimed, then I won't worry about them ever. I probably wouldn't have bothered with it if I didn't need them for the extra length, and knew I was going to do the slide rack eventually

What was the hardest/took the longest part? Why when you had it all apart didn’t you burn in the strut bucket gussets? You rally your truck. Everyone says they get bent and are a PITA to pull strait. Is it possible to do on jack stands? Sorry for the 20 questions

Hey sorry I didn't see this till now!

I'll be doing the coil bucket gussets. The reason I didn't is because I had the total chaos ones on hand, so I didn't order the JD ones, but the TC ones don't fit with the JD kit. So I have the JD ones ordered and will do them when I get time!

Can definitely do this job on jack stands. Pretty sure JD does!

On new years eve I got the black rhino riot beadlocks with 37x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the truck! So good for getting in the rocks! Fits with the JD kit, but I do need to tub the top of the wheel well for sure, so I'll get on that asap.

If I were in a DCSB or Access Cab, 35's would be perfect, but for me, with the DCLB, I need the extra clearance for a lot of the places I go where I end up high centered or dragging constantly. I get hung up on break over angle more than anything else!

Thanks! It's a Canon 6D mkII, and I use the Canon 70-200 F2.8L and Canon 16-35 F2.8L lenses. Hopefully this year I might afford the 24-70 which would give me the full trifecta. Too many hobbies and responsibilities to spend money on!

I switched from canon to Sony last year. Can’t beat the 24-70 2.8
