Another Crank no start issue 3RZ-FE 2.7L

Hey guys.
I turned my laptop upside down so all you Americans can read what I'm typing.

We have Toyota Hilux in Australia here with the 3Rz-FE 2.7L Motor in them. Same as the Tacoma. Iron block, alloy heads, alloy front cover.
A family friend is having issues with his. And it's doing my head in trying to get it running.

It cranks and won't start, you can roll start it if it's got a long hill to roll down, it won't idle after it starts, it cranks and cranks and cranks, sometimes you get a little pop like its 50% ready to fire, but won't.

NO FAULT CODES.

To date, it's had:
A new battery. Plus had jump starters on it. Fully charged.
A new fuel pump. When shorted it runs, can hear it pumping.
New Crank angle and Cam sensors.
The problem persists, still just cranks and cranks and cranks.
When the key is inserted the security light stops blinking.

There is no excessive petrol smell at the exhaust when its running after bump start (Thats Gas for you guys), can't see any hoses damaged and degraded for vacuum leaks.

I am at a loss.
The Google is crappy now, AI generated search results just say look for spark and petrol.
There is spark because it bump starts, and runs when you keep the rpm high enough.

After changing the Crank Angle Sensor today, it had to be roll started down a hill in my little rural town, and it drove to my shed from my friends house maybe 2 Kilometers. like a mile and a bit, but wont start again after stalling when clutch pushed in to come to a stop.
Just cranks and cranks and cranks.

If this sounds like a common issue with the 3RZ-FE 2.7L I would send a kangaroo to anyone who helps me to a solution.
