So my truck is going to the muffler shop today to get new exaust, I plan on removing my cat and installing a 44 series flow master. My question is will I loss low end tork if I up my pipe size to 2 1/2 if so I will keep 2 1/4. Thanks for any help.

5100's all around, 2 inch lift, polyurethane body mounts, gibson exhaust, variation of the deckplate mod, intake resonators removed
I have a 98 Limited and the pipes are 2-1/2 inch and yes the bottom end seems a bit weak but that was what was on the truck when I bought it and the stock pipe is a 2-1/2 so if your SR5 came with the 2-1/4 Toyota probably had a reason for that.
