Last year I watched him do that with a $1200 custom rifle rest. Dropped it onto the driveway from chest height then rolled it end over end up the driveway. You can see how effective filing a complaint was...

Thats shitty. And he just leaves them on the sidewalk like that? We've been lucky with our USPS carriers, they've always been friendly and good with the mail

He’s a fat, lazy POS way beyond his expiration date. Should’ve fired him a long time ago...

yeah I don't see being a USPS mail carrier a good fit if you're not in decent shape at least. Dude needs to request a permanent job behind the counter at the local post office.

There should be a .gov website to upload that video to start the termination process.

Like I said. I complained about him last year for basically the same thing. You can see how far that got me.

Your title is misleading. Poor performers come in all flavors, not just government.

It's an individual's low work ethic problem. All his kin can be found in every type of job.

However, he does have some union-esque type protections via civil service rules. So even a supervisor who cared could have a hard time dealing with such foolery.

Hate to say it, but your complaints and videos won't do a thing. They're unionized and government employees. The chances of you getting that dude fired or even a negative action against him are slim to not happening. I've never directly worked for the post office, but have had a ton of relatives and friends work there. I could tell you some stories. USPS just plain ol' sucks.

We had a problem with the mail man last year also. If there was a car parked on the street with in a 100ft of the mailbox by the road he wouldn't deliver. He said it was to close to get to the mailbox / safety issue. I called to complain and they told me it's the drivers discretion for safety and I keep blocking the mailbox. I asked to have a supervisor come out and actually look at what was going on instead of taking the mail mans word for it. Long story short the supervisor apologized and said the mail man kept saying I was blocking the box when I would park 3 or 4 car lengths away from the mail box. He said he would take care of it and I wasnt doing anything wrong , I havent had a problem since then.

    That’s pure lazy....

Gotta say though not all who work in government are like that.

there are folks like that in all walks of life...

A friend of mine works as an investigator for a large hospital network. He recently investigated a surgeon who could not complete a surgery. Turns out the surgeon had been drinking and had an alcohol concentration of .32!!!

Post office is the worst of it. I did the military, law enforcement, and am a Federal employee now. Nothing compares to the post office.

Yup, there are some very good folks who work in government service. Unfortunately there are many like this POS too.

Don't add fuel to the fire, you might stop getting mail all together.
