Total Chaos bed stiffeners. I purchased from Amazon using Prime.
Prior to checkout, I was offered $70.00 off of the price if applying for an Amazon credit card. It took only a few minutes online and the final price was $89.00.

Mine didn't come with one, but I just cut out a round piece of packing tape. Just FYI.

These are the shots I took of the plastic bushing before and after removal during the installation of the SaBellCo lock on my truck. It took me longer to find and buy the bit for the tailgate bolts than to actually install the lock.

Sears has a really good kit that was on sale for 29.95 which has all the bits you would need #99941 and is a nice kit, Bought one for my brother since he just bought a 2018 Black TRD 4x4 DCSB.

Another lock on order! Haven't had any issues with my tailgate, or my neighborhood... but $80 buys a bit of piece of mind. Had a colleague have one stolen while we were in grad school. Might have had something to do with the neighborhood though.

I see trucks driving down the road without tailgates and I think how more I can get the word out to do something.

When I had my Jeep I would get the head nod when a fellow jeeper passed. Now there are so many people would think you are crazy.

I try to tell people with new or older truck to at a minimum do something.

I'd almost say "what is the use of that thing?"

But I remember a fellow pilot who has a different brand truck went up to Dallas for a weekend, and someone stole the tailgate off of his truck. Luckily he didn't have anything valuable in the back of his truck.

Yes, it’s still paying off for itself. Super great product

I know this is a different deal, but just a quick shout out. This product from USA Truck Supply has paid off for itself also BTW, three concrete piers and three 4x6x12 and the Taco barely squated. Makes me wonder if they improved that?

Thanks for the the comment, hope the lock is still serving all that have purchased it well. I meet 1-2 people a week near me that have had their tailgate stolen, some even twice.

I do have to comment on the rack hanging off the back of your truck. That thing is a beast. I think they need a spot to mount a big red flag. I would totally be afraid of someone hitting me and having that wood come through the cab. I personally would think of a bed rack for over the cab. even if it was at some angle from this attachment. at least if some fool hit you it would send the 4x4's flying through the air like some sort of dart, but you would at least be safe. Recommend putting all the wood to the passenger side and having the passenger sit behind the driver. Kind of looks like you already though about that.

Sorry but I put on my safety hat and fear for you and/or any passengers. I live in Cali as well ad have seen many Id 10 T errors on the highway. I think you could get away with some sort of Thule like bar near the front of the bed

Different strokes for different folks. Racks can be just as dangerous.

tell you what, you would have walked if you would have seen the 20’ 3x3 14g square tubing pieces from Industrial Metal Supply I brought home, lol.
