Another keyless entry + remote start post, needing information

    Well being that you've clarified it's a base model with no immobilizer, the shops are just trying to avoid about 4 wires extra needed. The DBALL doesn't serve any purpose in the base models, regardless of remote start/security option.

    The install fee includes keyless, yes. Almost all systems (except the Viper DS4VB) have keyless entry pads, so the cost is included. Keyless entry is just a matter of programming the remotes to the brain. With all these systems, you'll also be able to retain the factory remotes if you have them.
