Yeppers. so I am tired of my truck "sounding like a go-kart" as my wife says. So I dont know if I should go with a aero turbine muffler or a magnaflow, when I get the muffler installed I am planning on them install a 2.5" pipe instead of the stock 2 1/4". Right now I have the deck plate mod. But im also thinking of installing this Airaid intake because the stock tube is cracked..

SO if you could please help me out help me out that would be great. The only reason why I said this two mufflers is because I heard good things about them. Right now I have a flow masters "50 series?" and im not that happy with it.

I know the muffler is s personal choice.. I guess im more of just asking how do people like there.

And that Airaid kit is really just a new tube and filter.. you still use the stock box.

I have a Magnaflow 12245 Stainless Steel 2.25" welded into the stock exhaust. I also have the deckplate + airaid intake tube and I like the sound. Granted, I know it's not 2.5" but it's quiet under 2,500 rpm.

BTW: Not sure where you plan on buying the airaid from but check out Advance Auto they have some nice online discounts and free shipping to the store/or home . Not sure if you can make it out but "VISA" was the promo code.

Dude thats awesome! I only said the link because thats where I saw it. And from the price from the muffler and that airaid I just might go with that..

Thanks for the input so far.

I love my magnaflow 18' 2.25. A nice, low rumble at low RPM, and it rips at high RMP. I was looking for improved sound without a tiring hwy drone or an obnoxious, "hey-look-at-me" scream.

Every magnaflow I've heard on a taco sounded really nice.
