    I have owned many new cars and trucks in my life - and I bought my first Toyota two weeks ago. A Tacoma Double Cab TRD Sport, V6 long bed. Love it.

    My previous vehicle was a 2007 BMW 335i. This car, with only 62K miles on it, became such an enormously expensive* nightmare to keep running - I took almost nothing for it on trade for my new truck and was perfectly happy to see it go.
    *Two water pumps in the last 10 months at a cost of $2K each. Recurring oil leaks that I spent 3K repairing in the past 12 months. A failed AC compressor that I had no intention of spending thousands on. A $2K replacement engine wire harness due to corrosion. Etc.
    I am looking forward to many years of trouble-free motoring in my new Toyota Tacoma.
