Since I feel like I skipped the order of operations for a forum (posting a question before introduction), I figured I'd show off my new truck.

A few days ago I stopped by a Ford dealer about 20 miles away, and found a really nice looking Toyota Tacoma. It's a 2007 X-Runner, with a 6-speed manual transmission. It was listed at more than I wanted to pay (finance), but it was under KBB value. Even after adding a precautionary 2 year warranty, I still came out a little below value. Overall, I don't feel like I got ripped off (or at least not too bad). No money down, and low monthly payments, I think I can handle it.
It has 113,000 miles on it, but still seems to run and drive new, as I would expect out of any Toyota. It's been some years since I had a manual transmission on any vehicle, so it was very nice to get one back. When I bought the truck, it came with a LEER top on it. It looks pretty sweet, I can't lie, but I do have plans to take it off and swap it for some sort of folding cover.
Anyway, enough talk, here are some pictures:

Hopefully I didn't do too many pictures, but people like pictures.

It still needs a detailing, but that is postponed until it warms up more. I refuse to freeze. So far, the only changes I have made to the truck is replacing a bulb, and adding a K&N drop in filter. I've got an adapter coming in soon to connect my old IPod to the radio. I really want to add HID's (4300k), but kind of want to keep things simpler. Like Silverstar Ultras or something. We'll see what this truck brings me, and tempts me to do. I like the stock look, with only minor mods. I may eventually get a new exhaust for it, and a real cold air intake, but for now, monthly payments are my concern.

Thanks. :) Last few forums I was on didn't last long, but that's because I sold the cars. At least l plan on keeping the Tacoma for a while (as long as it'll drive). It's my new everyday driver.

And I'll check out that other forum too. At the very least, it's always cool to see what people do to their trucks.
