Another Newbie

Greetings all,

Thanks for having me. I'm a joint owner (kind of, really is my son's vehicle) of a 2005 Tacoma Extended Cab.

I've been stalking the forum since we purchased the vehicle a few months back and decided it was time to join officially.

Love the vehicle, and love the fact this vehicle has the same engine as my South Africa Vehicle, a 2005 Prado (Landcruiser basically). SA is my home normally (hence the Joburgjohn) , and we came to settle my son into college this year and then Covid, well nuff said. Still here.

If we ever came back to the states, I'd love to buy another Tacoma for me, not sure if I would be able to afford it, as the one we had sort of fell into our laps at a price we could not say no to. But I love the vehicle. Driving it helps with my homesickness.

I'm eager to learn from those on the forum and help get the Tacoma going the best I can before we head back to SA.
