Another newby

Hi everyone, first post and first Tacoma. In fact, first vehicle of any kind that's not US made. I had some experience with Tacomas and Hilux trucks during the late unpleasantness overseas, and respected them for their toughness and capabilities. All I have ever owned before is F150's (still have one) and a Jeep Wrangler, and a couple Mustangs and other random cheap cars. Anyhow, just picked up my 2002 4WD SR5 access cab yesterday. It will be a daily driver, which will also include range trips and hunting- no plans to deliberately drive it into mudholes and such. My near term plans are a full coverage grill guard (I have hit 2 deer w/ my jeep since I moved back to Fl 5 years ago) and some sort of lockable tool box for the bed that can be easily removed if I need to do it. Later I am looking at some upgraded tires and a modest lift. Again, no rock crawling or intentional mudding, and snow isn't a thing here. So I will be asking for some advice on these things and others as they come up. Happy to be here, and look forward to meeting everyone!
