if I was buying 2 identical trucks and you explained your maintenance routine to me I’d call BULLSHIT because I never would believe anyone would waste that much time on oil changes and filtering and whatnot. Sounds like something crazy someone would say to trick a gullible buyer.

Not to mention I take service explanations with a grain of salt from sellers without receipts to prove it.

Exactly. I, for one, just started collecting pottery beer steins.

I’ve responded three times already that I’ve come off that idea based on member responses. You are late to the party.

Wow, I thought I was overboard with my monthly oil change
I drive 5k miles per month
According to the OP, I need to change my oil every 6 days.
    FYI, I have a 2021 sr5
with 31k miles on Papa smurf
I've performed 7 oil changes this far
(First at 1500 miles, next at 5k, & every 5k thereafter)

My last taco was a 2013
398k miles, oil change every 5k
It's still going, but I sold it....
was ready for gen3 taco time

I do agree with OP on regularly starting our tacos....& I also always let mine warm up 5-10 mins (depending on time of year) before starting my drive (morning start only... rest of the day it's start & go yo)

At what engine oil temp must we reach in Oder to burn off any condensation accumulation? Serious question. I monitor oil temperature.

There is some discussion about where the sender is. I would say bringing it up to operating temperature for a reasonable period of time is what is required. The oil will have more heat in it as it passes through the jets and gets sprayed onto the cylinder walls.

Lol nobody is taking you seriously any more. You do you bud. Filtering to 2 micron shows you know nothing about filtration. Good luck man.
FWIW I design complex hydraulic systems costing several times what your whole truck is worth. We filter to ISO 15/11 with a beta ratio of 200. That is nowhere near 2 micron lol as even the best high pressure 450 bar valves have 5-8 micron clearance.

Nobody is keeping you here, lol. Your in this thread real deep and you are just now coming to that conclusion? They might be complex to you but are not to your colleagues. Diversity, hmmm.

From your initial write up, you might as well add "I twirl around three times, touch my nose and hold my breath for five seconds as this helps improve my oil change process." Because this is as helpful as filtering your oil to two micron and using that magnet.

There's no oil temp sensor. It's processed data, ie some calculation that someone came up with to estimate oil temp. (my assumption is lagging water temp).

And also dilute your oil with gas even more. Cold engine runs very rich.

I hope the OP takes care of himself like he does his oil.

The human body is a dirty run machine. Parts, fluids and filters are not changeable for something to do. Vehicles, like everything else man made are disposable. Why try and make it out last you, I will never know.

    That is all.
