    Glad he was able to find something and hope he gets it right this time.
    As far as the reference to shutting down other cylinders, Toyota uses a 'waste spark' system. Essentially 2 companion cylinders fire at the same time for each power stroke, wasting the companion cylinders spark because there should be no fuel/air in that cylinder. I guess the thought is if there were any it would be burnt, and you would have less raw fuel emissions.
