I have a Gen 2 Access Cab Tacoma, and recently got two wonderful dogs from our local rescue. Well, you know the rear windows don't open on those, so that truck didn't work out well for them. That set my wife in motion to find a Gen 3 Crew Cab Tacoma, which she did. That set me in motion to set up the back of the truck for dog travel and to doggie proof it as the truck is in pristine shape. Below is a youtube vid link of the finished doggie deck.

Excellent work! What did you use to build the frame?

Just 2X4 dimensional pine...cut of course...to my specs. The frame is painted black to give it a finished look.
