I abandoned domestic makes in the early 90s. Been driving Toyotas, Hondas, and a few Nissans since then. When I decided to buy my first truck, it was between Nissan and Toyota. The Frontier was just “meh”, probably would’ve been a fine truck. But the Taco was just dead sexy. Honda’s “truck” was, well... not a truck.

I agree if the colorado and canyon looked better I would have bought one over the taco just for the fact that it has a front locker, and that means alot when your out wheeling.

If you don't like the "somewhat cheap feel" in the Taco interior you definitely would not like the "this cost two cents and was installed by a drunk feel" of new GMs. Really thought I'd buy the TD Colorado until I spent ten minutes inside it. Fold down the rear seat and you will see everything you need to see about cost cutting on them.

I don't feel mine seems cheap at all. I love the interior besides the e brake and how dirty it seems to get. maybe I'm just ocd.

Not complaining about mine either, though others do. Compared to the GMs, Tacos have a much better interior fit and finish. My opinion only.
