I figured I have taken so much information from this site, it was time i give something back. So a few weeks ago I picked up another grille to start the project. I have been gone on work for the past couple of weeks and was able to get started on it late yesterday. So here is what I got so far.

    New grille

    Some work with the dremel

Thats it so far. Tonight I will finish the sanding and tomorrow i will fiberglass and bondo.

Things I still need to buy:
    1. Mesh from custom car grills
    2. Colour Matched paint.

I am also still in the process of deciding how I am going to mount the mesh. Either zip-ties or epoxy some bolts on.

Will update when I got more.

yeah I spent some time talking to him on the phone, god damn you !!!! no jj but he was supposed to be coming through brandon to drop it off to me and I was waiting and waiting, decided to send him an email and he said it was sold. I would have had to paint it silver anyways so it was no biggie already sanded the chrome on mine.

If you attach the mesh with zip ties, make sure to use some epoxy to attach the zip tie mounts.

I originally used a BUNCH of super glue on mine and while I was crawling around under my truck today I looked up at the grille and noticed all of the bottom mounts have come undone. Gotta get in there with some epoxy tomorrow and secure those things.

x100 I did the same thing and my bottom mounts have come undone as well. I'm going to use JB Weld to mount the bolts when I get some time...

Mix the Bondo is small batches, sand the hell out of it once it's dried, then repeat the process to fill in the spots you missed.
