    Kings will rust too:

All the coilovers require judicious washing and touchup with a thin rust preventative spray (Fluid Film, Krown, etc.) several times each winter. The fine machined threads and metal-on-metal contact are just high maintenance.

OP, you might consider Elka as well. They use aluminum for everything (shock body, shafts, adjusters) and from what I've seen on trucks up here in Alberta they hold up the best to road salt. I have limited seat time with them but I was impressed enough to order a set for myself.

Doesn’t toyota have a 5 year corrosion perforation warranty? Especially since this is a safety issue, you could probably get them to fix it

That's true - tbh I've never seen a coil spring rust out like that photo in OP. OEM or otherwise.

Maybe they need some of those neoprene shock covers.

I grew up in the seacoast of NH and my family mechanic would have a pile of snapped and sagged OEM front and rear coil springs of different makes, due to rust. I have lived in Colorado for 21 years now and still hear of it happening.

Those body covers are excellent catching and holding particulate matter, salts, and moisture against the body, causing more damage.

According to the warranty booklet, the corrosion perforation warranty applies to "any original body panel". Suspension components would just be covered under the 3-yr/36k basic warranty. Depending on when @bludweiaer got his truck, that may have expired. Anyway, looks like @bludweiaer wants to lift and upgrade, not just return to the status quo.

The OEM trd pro coils have a known issue where they break right on the first loop. They lack a taper in the cut like most coils have which causes a stress point.

For OP: you really can't go wrong, I personally run ADS, most people run Kings, some run Fox, some run Icons.
