Another set of HID Retrofits for Sale (Pic Heavy)

2012-2015 HID Projector Retrofits for sale.

I bought these from a member on here about 3 or 4 months ago. Everything works great, I just switched to some Philips LED’s before Thanksgiving last year and I am happy with the way they worked out, so now the HID’s are for sale. I ran them for a couple of months and they worked great. I am not selling them because they broke, I am selling them because I am going to stick with my LED’s and I don’t want these things sitting in the garage for months collecting dust.

The bad:

There is some minor pitting on one of the lights (pictured) and one has scratch on the front (not in the way of the projector). I bought them like this, so I’m just letting you know. This has no effect on light output. I also added a little JB weld to one of the brackets on each light to stiffen them up a little bit, but they were NOT BROKEN. I repeat, they were not and are NOT BROKEN. Now with that out of the way, on to the specs:

-OEM Housings from a 2012 Taco

-The bowls are painted with Krylon satin black

-They have Morimoto Stage IV 3” projectors

-Ballasts are Denso slims for about a 3 second startup time. Original owner added some sealant around the edges to help keep water/moisture out. It doesn't look pretty but it works.

-Bulbs are D2S Phillips 85122VX C1 Extreme Vision 4800K

-Apollo 3 shrouds

-Morimoto Bixenon H4 harness (you will retain your low/high beam functionality)

The previous owner did a good job putting these together. He JBwelded and screwed the projectors to the bowls and he user butyl rubber in addition to the existing sealant when he reassembled. He also put some waterproof caulk on the outer gaps to help ensure there were no leaks. He told me he never had any leaks while he had them and I did not either in the short time I ran them on my truck (I went through a couple of heavy storms with them on).

This sale includes almost everything you need to get up and running. You’ll need to move over your blinkers and corner marker lights, but that is it.

The light output on these things is bad ass. Super sharp cutoff and nice solid white light. You will not be disappointed. These lights need a new home!

$800 and I’ll cover shipping via USPS to anywhere in the lower 48 if needed. I’ll take paypal and will do a normal sale, not a “gift” in case you have any concerns. Also, for what it’s worth, I am driving from Houston to Oregon (Portland area) in May and will be happy to TWExpress these to anyone who is willing to meet me along my route (route is still TBD). As of right now I’ll most likely be going up through central TX into the panhandle and on up through Farmington, NM into Moab and up through Idaho and west to I-84. But this is subject to change.
