I wonder if the gun problem is because everyone has guns out available to be stolen or legally allowed to be carried. I understand its "your right" but if your guns were less accessible to criminals you wouldn't have as much of a problem of "if there's a will there's a way" concept. All the guns in my house are locked up, if I wanted to I could load a gun and sit it under my bed and no one would ever know but I don't need to.

This is a mute point though because there is no way in my life time that America will get there murders by fire arms down to a reasonable number. So I don't know why I bothered posting this.

Oh my goodness another shooting....what will I do now

Same thing I did yesterday. Live my life.

Current US homicide rate is same as 1961:cool:

79' and 91' were the worst years in modern history.

Stop suckling the media's tit and remove the tinfoil hat. You are safer now then ever before unless your older then 50.

This. The VAST MAJORITY of homicides include victims who were known to the killer. If you're not the wife(or husband) of a crazy spouse, a drug dealer, rob people for a living, or have some other life circumstance that is inherently dangerous, you have very little to be worried about.

These tragedies that occur are quite rare, statiscically, and you're probably more likely to be struck by lightening or win the lottery than you are to be killed by a psychopath on a shooting spree.

That guy is the epitome of a fuck face.

I was thinking more along the lines of the guy who blames these massacres on video games.
