It's normal to start second guessing everything when you've been sitting around waiting for as long as you have. It's hard to say what the next smart move is, but I suggest stick to the most recent plan you are sure you agreed to.

If this goes on much longer without any communication from them, I think anyone who's willing to head out get started on their way.

Best case scenario is they were held up by something legitimate and will soon find a way to communicate and tell all is well. Worse case is something happened and they are in need of help.

If you do decide you want to haul it up here I can monitor it as well, don't have much else to do....

Post above was at 8:58am. They probably made the decision to sit tight overnight since there is weather moving in.

10-4, was thinking maybe they thought you were arriving in another 4x4 and they decided to get a head start on the repairs

Not to derail- but for record keeping

(Can someone keep track of these?)

    yes you did Jason.

This has to do with the SSID's the - # that Max is asking about.

The SSIDs are sub id's to your callsign. -10 is generally cellphone - 9 is general mobile(aka vehicle)

Shane has two SSIDs active. One is his truck, the other his computer at home.

Very sad to see no one has heard from them..bit odd

Hopefully that's it. I spoke to them at 1030 to arrange them to pick me up at 1pm in Big Pine. The time required to drive in repair and return to 395 is less than 6hr. Probably 1.5 hour transit to, 1.5 hr back. 1.5 for repairs.
