Im out of the house for about 45 min and will be monitoring as much as possible. If no positive updates after im done doing what im doing then I will start making my way up.

Most of that area is without any sort of cell service. Might as well throw a cell phone in the garbage with how useful one would be.

 

Where they are at there isn't any phone reception until descending back into Owens valley, or the pass east of eureka valley has reception from the top.

I believe it was to check in with his Wife to see if she has heard from them.

 

The op is on the start of the trail...I thought in 5 hours they might find cell service.

 

Some discussion was had in the middle of this thread, when I get the broken parts I'll take some close ups to determine what I fucked up.

 

Should I go? I certainly don't want to scare his wife, but maybe he touched base with her. Ill leave it up to the OP. I live about 20 minutes from him.

I think everyone should hold off on doing anything drastic until the morning hours. That's just me though.

 

All i know is when you guys get together and your trucks on all 4 limbs again . You need to go to bishop and hit up Mahogany smoked meats for the best sandwich and beef jerkey you have ever had

I would agree, He might of told her he's going to have to spend the night already. Nothng really that can be done tonight. Hopefully theyll make contact in the morning
