This is TW at its finest. For those not aware- these distances involved are HUGE! Kudos to @goblue82 and anyone else able to help.

^^^This, indeed. Not to mention the actual trail-side repair itself.

Spent my first 30 years in SoCal. This is no joke. The fact that a TW member is executing this task- without knowing the member that broke down make this even more phenomenal!

I'm kind of hoping Greg ( @goblue82 ) and Shane get out there and fix the rig, somehow make a wrap a bow out of tape and OP shows up with beer in hand so they can all sit back and enjoy the glory.
OP, Greg is very capable with tools if he does get out there and starts wrenching before you

I hope they can get updates out to us, this is exciting :pccoffee:

OP breaks down in the middle of nowhere, two complete strangers pull together the required parts to fix OP, OP goes to sleep while the two hero ninja strangers trek out several hours into the desert with just a rough location, OP wakes up and quickly takes off to his truck to intercept the ninjas.
Who will get to the truck first? Will the strangers have it fixed before OP gets there? Will they nap after hours of driving and OP wakes them up?
Stay tuned for the next update...

(Hopefully just making light of a very difficult situation, I mean no disrespect to OP or this unfortunate situation)

I did find it odd that OP hadn't responded after his initial post. Glad it's getting sorted now though.

Way to go Greg and Shane!

@goblue82 is a stand up guy. He was my secret santa and went above and beyond on something as simple as that. This thread shows again the kind of guy he is. Love TW.
