Didn’t realize there was a lighting forum so I posted this in 3rd gen. first but may find better info here.

I was planning on running some ditch lights through a relay triggered by the high beams but also switched so I can run the high beams without the ditch lights. Simple enough...
Now I'm wondering, if I use a two position (3 with off) so I can use them as stated (switch position 1) but also, switch position 2 would light the ditch lights without the high beams, would it cause a problem?
Seams simple but do I need to worry about feedback to the high beam trigger wire?
I'm going to mock it up this weekend but thought I would get some advice first
