I have actually been lurking around TW for some time now...started with 2010 Prerunner TRD Sport but no mods and then quickly realized that I loved the Tacoma. Decided to trade my '10 for and '11 Silver DC Short Bed, 4x4 this time!!

    Here it is stock:

First, I added 265/70/17 Goodyear MTRs...

    Then spidertrax...

Finally I added Eiback coils up front and Bilstein 5100s all around with front set at .85, 1/4" Taco lean spacer, 1.5 AAL in rear and set of step bars...

That is always a fear but all parts are replaceable and the carrier has to pick up the tab...the worst part is going around the truck to make sure every blemish is noted...but worth it! They messed up my wife's car coming over here...2000.00 on a 10 month old Mazda 6!

Thanks, this site has been incredible with helping me decide what to do with my truck. On the other hand, it makes me want to spend a lot of money!

I almost got the duratracs, but very happy with MTRs. Plus, we are kinda subject to whats available at the stores 'cause shipping is re-donk-ulous! I haven't made it to big island yet, but it appears to be the next four day weekend hop for the wife and I. I am sure there are some good places to take a 4x4 to play over there...if only Tacos could fly!!

Yeah shipping is hella expensive here! The shipping cost for my Duratracs made my set of 5 tires cost near $1300!! But ya too bad no more the Superferry, if not it would be so easy to go island-hopping with our trucks! Yup, there are a lot of nice 4x4 places to go play here...easy stuff, mountains, rocks, mud, everything!! Haha
