Another tacoma with excessive engine tapping/clicking

    I brought my 2013 tacoma in for its last free oil change and they are keeping it a few day Bc I have excessive tapping in the engine!!!
    Crap! !!
    I should have taken a video of the noise but I forgot. It has 25,240 ish miles. They are fixing free of charge but they haven't taken it apart to be sure of the issue.

    What is my next course of action? Ask for an extension on warranty?

    This is my work vehicle and rental agencies do not hAve hitches on their cars due to liability but I am lucky and will be borrowing my parents jeep to tow with.
