We bought our Silver Tacoma DC 4x4 new in 2008. The Tacoma was mainly my wifes but she has gone back to school so I had to sell my toy and we are making due with just the Tacoma till she finishes in another year. I am new to TW but have been on several other forums so I know how to use the search function.

My background mainly includes fabrication. I have been doing it for roughly the past 8-9 years. I started at Norwood Performance doing misc. fab work and moved on to fabbing all the TT systems for Testarossa's, 308's, 348's etc... I then moved to industrial fab work and I am now just fabbing on the side while my main job is Accessibility Consulting.

My brothers and I are all Fabricators. While my focus was on the performance car side, one brother was focused on custom air bag setups and the other brother was focused on getting his ME. While we all had our own area's we have done everything from bumpers, cages and suspension to guardrails and just about anything else you can think of.

Sorry for the long intro, just wanted everyone to know that while I am new to TW I am not new to cars or modifying them. I look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully I will be able to help some people out here and there.

Here are a couple pics of the Tacoma and a couple of my V I just sold.

There are also some more pics in my albums at the following link. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/album.php?u=148755

Welcome Aboard fellow Texan. OKAY, My question to you can you make some headers for are Tacomas? Many members on here, (fabricators as your self) have made bumbers and other stuff. I went to your website real quick and saw some headers, did you fabricate those? Can you make some for Tacomas, I belive others would'nt mind some!!:D (Back to your website)

Just slow I guess. Most focus was on the Caddy since that project started in 2005. Now that it is gone my focus is on the Tacoma.

The picture of the headers that I think you saw are actually Kooks Headers that I just modified the flange on.

Here is a pic of a header/turbo kit I made for a 308(from that link).

While I can make them... the time that it would take to make a good set of headers probably would not be cost effective for anyone. I will take a look at them tomorrow and see what it would take. It might be easier than some of the other cars that I have worked on.

Thank You. You are a little farther along than me. I will hopefully be getting some wheels sometime in the near future.

I have never looked into it but I am surprised headers are not offered by any companies.

Thanks, I have only put a couple hundred miles on them but they seem to be a great tire so far. I actually got a really good deal on them. I had discount tire match onlinetires price and it came out to roughly $810 total mounted and balanced.

Well, looking into LT kits but that will probably be a while before I can make that happen. Definitely custom bumpers, sliders and skid plates. Gonna eventually lock it up. Probably some of the visual mods like satoshi and black emblems. Not a lot of original ideas left out there at this point but Hopefully I can make it stand out some more.
