    Hello all!

I normally have been able to find what answers I’m looking for using the search function, but unfortunately I have not been able to find the combo I’m looking for.

I’ve got a 2019 Access cab Tacoma, with the 2” All dogs off-road lift kit and the sr5 16” wheels. I am a fan of the sr5 wheels and plan to keep them.

Here comes the question that will likely irritate everyone... With your experience(photos appreciated) what is the largest tire size I can fit without a CMC? I’m fine hammering a pinch weld and trimming some plastics, but would rather avoid the CMC.

Thank you in advance for the help!

I believe you would still rub on the cab mount area with 285’s
So i’d say 265/75/16 or 255/85/16 if u dont mind skinnies

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
A 255/85R16 is still going to a 33" tire. You can fit that without a CMC. You gain very little by going to a 285 width 33" tire, unless you're concerned about the looks. To me, the lighter skinny tire has more benefits that the heavier, more rolling resistance wider tire.

Much appreciated for everyone’s input. With offset playing as much of a role as it does, it was worth an ask before I buy tires at wholesale and cannot return them.

    thank you!
