Probably too late but another vote for the Falken Wildpeak AT3W

spent time in the snow with them today, like them better than my BFG KM2’s

I'm thinking of waiting a year for some Falkens. Original treads are still hanging in there, had the dealer pull offs w/wheels on for a few thousand miles this summer for my trip to Oregon, Idaho, Montaner, Washington. When it gets icy, will put them back on until next Fall when I dismount my OEM tires which I hope to finish off soon and buy some Falkens others like. Unless I find some cheaper than $170 ea.

I went with the LTX and love them. Great on road handling in all weather. Truck is better in rain than it really has any right to be. And I’ve done a fair amount of gravel/dirt forest roads at speed and they are super responsive. Had one pucker moment when I started sliding towards a ditch while going thru a corner and braking on gravel, slowly released the brake counter steered and back right on track all at 40+ mph. Only done short bits of off road on muddy rocky easy trails but no slip at all. Great all around tire

I had those GY Kevlars and got rid of them with 6000 miles. Like my Wildpeaks much better, for any type of driving. Was very unsatisfied with GY in light snow last winter. I’m in the Indy area so not far away. As others have said, I vote for Michelin LTX if wanting a solid AS.

Yep, besides being super dangerous in wet, they’ve gotten super loud as well.. the “womp womp” sound they make alone makes me want to get rid of them.
Had them for about 2 years.
Let me know how you like Duratracs, though I suspect my next tire will be LTX

I had the duratracs... TWICE. they are good in the beginning but they suck towards the end of the life... SO LOUD... I like the Michelin brand they make great tires, but they aren't like a great AT tires... if you are looking for a SUV type tires.... Yeah then go with the Michelin!

Thanks again for all the great input, this community rocks!

Update...I did end up going with the set of Goodyear Wrangler Adventurer AT Kevlar. Final price was nice, plus a generous rebate, so the deal worked out. Looking at them in the shop I was worried that they would turn out to be loud, but after the job was done, they looked good, I could not notice the noise, and I've been very satisfied so far.

Traction is much, much better in rain, snow, and ice, so much so that it feels like a different truck. We've had downpours, light snow, heavy snow, and heavy ice in less than a month, so I've had a good chance to really test them out. Traction control will still come on, but it takes more to get it to do so and these tires hook back up quickly, while the Toyo's would just spin like a washer on spin cycle. Highway speeds I do not notice a change in sound from the old Toyo's to these ones.

Only complaint is with Goodyear's rebate. A gift card. Dammit, if you're going to give me a rebate, take it off the price or send me a check.
