I ran into some wheel shops hesitant on telling me that a 16" wheel would fit with the calipers, even wheels with the same or similar specs. The wheel shops recommended installing wheel to check fitment before mounting a tire. The 17" wheels with similar backspacing doesn't seem to have this problem, but someone more knowledgeable than me needs to answer for certain. For the caliper clearance issue I went with 17" wheels with 265 70 17 tires, which has the same sidewall ratio as my stock TRD OR setup. Hopefully this works, I can speak for certain tomorrow as the new wheels and tires are being installed tomorrow.

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
You don't have to click on them. When "what's the biggest tire that fits on a stock suspension?" pops up brand new tomorrow all over again......skip it. Move the mouse a 1/4" and move on to something else. If somebody wants to help them out, awesome. But even if the post says "jbmccal, what is the biggest tire size that will fit on stock suspension?" you don't have to click on it at all if it bothers you.

once again, this is not the same topic, this has nothing to with what are the largest size tires or wheels I can fit, I obviously know what answer as I used the largest sizes in my first post.

I won't, especially because that's not my name.

You are correct. That is not the question you asked. In order to get a more accurate response, try a better title next time, something like "Is it better to run 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 when off roading?" When we see "another tire thread" we all assume that you looked it up, were too lazy to read and then proceeded to make a new thread.

just got my wheels (atx crawl 17x9) and tires (discoverer at3) installed and there is some rubbing on the front at full turn. i plan on doing the 5100 level to hopefully get rid of the rub.
