Sorry, I just said popular wheel since I didnt know what they were called, and I've seen them on about 6 other rigs so far. I have the MB TKO wheels, in a 17" big enough to fit a 285 70r tire

Hey I'd like to get your opinion on the new Icon Delta Joint UCAs now that you've had them on for a while. If you already posted info on it sorry for missing it but I couldn't find any review yet. I would like to replace mine sometime this year and I am strongly considering these...they are just quite a bit more $ than the SPC or JBA UCAs. I know I don't want uni-balls so I'm just trying to narrow it down a bit. Thought I would ask someone who has been using them for a while.

I like them they are nice. A couple things I don't like is cost and there is no boot for the ball joint so you have to grease them more often. Camburg also makes a ball joint UCA. Looking at all the options if I were to do it all over again I would go with the JBAs. I don't think you are getting that much more $$$$ worth from the Icons to the JBAs plus the replacement Ball joints for the Icons are like 200 bucks or more. The SPC and Camburgs are nice looking but their balljoints don't have any more articulation and the JBA and Icon does. I think the JBA and Icons are on par with each other but I would go JBA if I were to do them all over just to save the $$$, but you can't go wrong with the Icons.

Thanks for the info. I am leaning towards the JBAs so that's funny you mentioned those. I like the rebuildable factor as well. I am only on page 38 of 138 on the JBA thread so I have more reading to do before fully deciding. I don't know if I really like the color but I guess I could buy them unpainted...but then I have to spend more money to have them powder-coated a different color. And I also need to decide between the SD and HD JBAs. I will probably go with the HD version because I like how beefy they are and I have been known to get airborne every once in a while! :bikewhoops: :D

Well got a new to me tailgate so much nicer than my old beat to hell one. Also put the cap back on it is able to sit where it is supposed to now that I don't have a tailgate that's bowed out almost 2 in. Re-sealed the tracks on the cap hopefully no more leaking even though it was minor before. Got to do a little more work to the cap in the future to make it a little nicer and weatherproof. New tailgate at a very fair price thanks to @rogs6266

The tailgate is MGM. I just need some more factory toyota colors. Then I'll have the technicolor taco. Maybe I should rename my build thread and actually put it in the build thread section because I screwed up and didn't put it there to begin with :anonymous:

Going to do the hump in the hood from the grille to the cowl not sure if i'm going to go cheap and rattle can it or wrap. Also going to do the Jimbo mod and do the waistline and flares in bed liner. Black roof to me just screams heat sink to make the cab hotter. Plus I'll be making a roof rack system soon similar to my old prinsu.
