Another TW Fantasy Football League!

number of teams reduced to 10.
had 3 people recently pm me for sign up. now only 2 manager spots left.

 

New roster positions set:
QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

 

If there is still space, im in.

Everyone that has asked to play now has the league id and password. Just waiting for all to sign up. So long as everyone that has asked signs up, then we have reached the 10 manager limit.

 

We arent having a live draft? It's autopick?

 

I've never been a commisioner before so i went the easy route with the autodraft for ease. as far as i know, it's essentially the same. you still set up the order you want which player drafted.

Since i work weekends, it makes it hard to do a live draft. But if everyone can aggree on a good day/time i am willing to consider.

 

A live draft would be much better. It's a pain in the ass to set up an efficient autodraft team.

 

Live draft is too difficult with people scattered all over and with different schedules, etc. etc.

Autopick draft works just fine if you go in and rank the players. If you don't then it's a crapshoot on who you end up with.

 

then when is going to be best for a live draft and how long do they take?

I'm guessing we put it to a vote on what will work best for everyone. So everyone playing needs to voice opinion on what they want. Live draft or auto draft.

 

Most live drafts will last about an hour and a half. But I normally just log out after my first 6 or 7 picks and let the CPU do the rest.

 

I vote auto draft. Like you said schedules are different and 3 hour time differences also affect times. I'll log in when I get off work at 4 eastern.

 

auto is prolly fine. Just rank the players you want picked

we have 3 votes for auto and 1 for live.

 

So the Auto draft is in the lead. But whatever is decided, the draft will happen either way on the 22nd.

 

If that is the date I could do the live if it's not too late on the east coast. Maybe like 10 eastern, 7 pacific, PM of course.

Besides, can't you still rank your pics on the live one and still let the computer choose for you?

 

if it's live it will be earlier than that. probably afternoon. well afternoon for me in the mt time zone. something like 6 eastern

 

Obviously I'm not in this so it doesn't matter(didn't see the thread soon enough) but I would just do a live. That's how I run the draft on another car forum I'm on. If people don't want to or can't make the decided time, as mentioned, the CPU will pick their team for them, based on their rankings. So if there's a few who want live, there's really no reason not to since it will just act like an auto draft anyways for those not there. Just my 2 cents, of course.

 

I think this idea would work. It should appease everyone.
