Another TW newbie!

Got my new (and 1st) 2001 Taco a couple months ago. It's in great shape with two prior owners who took care of it. It has 173k miles, 2wd, 4cyl, and a new frame due to the recall in 2013.

I used to have a 95 Ford Ranger and it was ok, but I sold it a few years ago. Drove a Corolla since then and man am I glad to be back in a truck.

I've been lurking this website and finally decided to join up. The community here is huge and after driving my Taco for a couple months I can see why.

I love the truck and I want to keep it in good shape and get at least another 75k miles out of it. I would like to do some mods but nothing too crazy.

Primarily I want to tune it up and keep it running smooth. Hopefully I will be able to pass it down to my son in 2 or 3 years.

For mods, I would like to get some new wheels (matte black) and a good set of tires with good gripping tread and not too much road noise. I've heard the General Grabbers are good, but I'm looking for any all suggestions before I buy them prior to winter (I'm in Ohio).

Also, the red dash lights are annoying, I want to replace them with green ones.
