I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I haven't seen anyone ask for this much detail.

I'm on the fence. The wheels I'm getting are 17x8 -10. I was gonna stay with the factory 265/65-17 tire size, but I'm really starting to lean towards a 265/70-17 to fill out the wheel well more. I have no plans to lift the truck, so I'm not wanting to put a the 265/70s on if they're gonna rub. The truck will probably never see any real off road use, so it'll mostly be a pavement princess. It will also not have any mud/splash guards on it. Will I be safe with this combination? If you're running this set up with no lift, exactly where and how much rub are you getting?

with factory wheels there will be no rub, with the new wheels there is the potential of a slight rub on the front when turning. It’s minor and can be easily remedied by taking a heat gun and re molding the plastic inner fender.

You’ll probably rub somewhere along the body mount, but shouldn’t be bad. I had those wheel specs with 275/70/17 on my Tacoma and only rubbed slightly in reverse with the wheel turned all the way.
