On the other hand we also own a 2020 RAV4 and I was like when we had to replace that windshield!

Progressive doesnt offer this as far as I can tell.

You do not. Sign the waiver and just have them replace the glass. I went through the same thing with my TRD Sport 4x4 on 2.5 OME Lift and 275 70 17 KO2s. A local glass guy recommended I don't mess with the camera as I wasn't in an accident and the camera should be fine without a recalibration. The shop my crystal fusion glass warranty worked with had me sign an acknowledgement / waiver / whatever to cover their 6... windshield went in without issue... and the lane departure worked better after the windshield was installed than before. No clue why. Crack was nowhere near the camera.

Don't bother with the recal unless you have a serious impact. I didn't and all systems worked fine.

 

Just checked price for my 'glass buyback' addon with Farmers, gives $100 windshield replacements that don't count against you. $5/mo for Nissan Murano, $15/mo Infiniti coupe, $25/mo '23 taco. Looks like breakeven is if you use it around every 18-24 months. They do let you specify OEM glass and specify the shop that does the work.

Had my windshield done at Safelite last year. Same thing, signed a waiver before they installed it since they couldn't calibrate. No issues, never went to the dealer. Personally I've had good service with Safelite and would continue to use them. In Arizona, we have the highest number of windshield claims in the country. Had 3 done in my Camaro and one on the Tacoma. Zero issues.

 

Yep, all the cinders and chuck holes on the 17 North in the Spring. And the 17 South but the cinders always hit me going up the hill.
